OPEN SANCTIONED EVENTS

SWIPE FOR MORE QUESTIONS>>

Hosting an ADC event is straightforward — but it does require the right setup to deliver a consistent, high-quality experience for players. If your venue can meet the following requirements, you’re ready to become part of the growing ADC network:

  • Tablets or smartphones for scoring – ADC recommend the Amazon Fire HD 7,8 or 10
  • Stable/Strong WiFi connection or the ability to tether to a stable 4G/5G smartphone
  • Well-lit dartboards
  • Tournament standard dartboards
  • Fixed Oches

We recommend all organisers/venues to run through a tutorial with Matt from Darts Atlas before you go ahead with running ADC sanctioned competitions.

Every sanctioned tournament must be agreed and, on the ADC UK Calendar, more than a week before the competition.

Please be aware, we DO NOT accept sanctioned opens on the same dates as the WINMAU TOUR or NATIONAL FINALS.

From 2025, ‘Plate’ Knockouts or ‘First Round Loser’ Competitions can only be sanctioned, if players are added as guests to the event. We will NOT sanction ‘Plate’ Knockouts with ranking points attached.

  • A minimum of Best of 5 in straight Knockouts
  • Best of 3 are allowed in Round-Robin Groups Stages
  • Monthly Round-Robins and one-off Round-Robin events are permitted.

Please note – Weekly Round-Robins are not allowed. If you are to host a weekly round-robin, it must be via the ADC under ‘The Vault Round-Robin Series’ – See HERE for more info.
Please be aware, the 3-week break between a Vault Series, we do allow weekly round-robins to be sanctioned, only if they currently run a weekly vault

  • Event Description’s must include all valid information including check-in time, entry price, and prize fund.

  • A venue loaction must be added to the event, so that players can find it via the search function. Administration > Venue > Add Venue.

  • Every event that requests sanctioning, must be open to all ADC members.

To apply for ADC Sanctioning is completely FREE. You must use the Darts Atlas system to offer ranking points.

ADC Sanctioned competitions will be 50p per player to use the system

For example, if you have a competition with 48 players in, the cost will be £24.00.

We advise tournament organisers to add a 50p admin charge to the player entry fees to cover the cost.

Please be aware, the ADC does not see any of this money. Darts Atlas receives the full £50p per player.

Benefits of using Darts Atlas
